Fruit salad with quark

Fruit salad with quark is a symphony of brilliant colours and excellent flavours. The dessert is veritably teeming with healthiness and antioxidants. If you want a dessert low on calories, this is truly the right choice, with only 146 kcal per serving. In addition, fruit salad with quark is both a quick and easy dessert to make. It just takes a few minutes from start to finish. The best thing about this dessert, you can eat it every day if desired.

I have used at typical Scandinavian quark that is both velvety and sweet with vanilla taste. If you do not get hold of this sort – you can use Greek yoghurt and add some powdered sugar and vanilla. This does not exactly give the same taste and is not as healthy, but it is close enough.

Ingredients:

0.5 orange (pr.person – approximately 100 g)
0.5 kiwi (pr.person – approximately 40 g)
8-10 blueberries (pr.person – approximately 20 g)
5-6 raspberries (pr.person – approximately 30 g)
1 tablespoon coarsely chopped walnuts (pr.person – approximately 5 g)
1 tablespoon vanilla quark (pr.person – approximately 20 g)

Directions:
  1. Start by cutting away both the orange and kiwi peel. Cut them into suitable pieces. Put the sliced fruit in appropriate dessert plates or bowls.
  2. Sprinkle randomly over blueberries and raspberries.
  3. Then scatter over the chopped walnuts and finish with good dollop of vanilla quark.

Served: Immediately, but there is no problem letting them stand a couple of hours. If you want to leave them – wait until serving before you put on the vanilla quark.

Allergy: Lactose in the quark. You can easy make it lactose free by using lactose free quark or yoghurt. Low on FODMAP.
